Nova Scotia Chicken
Source: my Mom. I think she got it from her friend Gail Mosley in Nova Scota (hence the name).
Ingredients
Item | Quantity |

Chicken Wings, Drumsticks, or Breasts | 2–3 lbs |
Brown Sugar | 1 cup |
Dry Mustard | ½ teaspoon |
Corn Syrup | 1 cup |
Soya Sauce | ½ cup |
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 325 °F
- Lay chicken in shallow pan
- Mix sugar & mustard
- Cover chicken with sugar / mustard mix
- Set in fridge for 2 hours
- Mix together corn syrup and soya sauce
- Pour over the chicken
- Bake for 2 hours at 325 °F
- Baste often
