Mom’s Chilli

Ingredients

| Ground Beef | 1 lb |
| Yellow Onion | 1 |
| Canned diced tomatoes | 1 medium can |
| Canned pork and molasses brown beans | 1 medium can |
| Canned kidney beans | 1 medium can |
| Chili powder | to taste |
Instructions
- Dice the onion into medium-small pieces
- Brown the ground beef and onion together, breaking up the ground beef as desired
- Add the canned tomatoes, brown beans, and kidney beans
- Add the chili powder (if concerned about spice level, start with a small amount, you can always add more)
- Turn the heat to low / very low
- Thoroughly mix and stir the pot
- Simmer for at least half an hour, ideally a couple of hours on very low
